it's complicated ♥̴̛̰͗̒̉ ̵̼̈♥̵̙̻̜̮͙́͋̒͆̕ ̶̠̹̗̈́̈́̂͠♥̴̻̟̓̀̀̋͠ͅ ̵̬̦̍̆♥̷̝͙̞̜̤̀̚ ̷̧̖̮̩̅̆̿♥̴̹̓̋̂̾	DILUC RAGNVINDR they grew up together as children, and are now relearning how to interact with each other (good job kaeya for pushing away anyone you ever cared about - and for what?). they're not the same people they knew as bright-eyed children, and the people they are now conflicts with the person they once knew in their memories. but diluc is the only one kaeya trusts completely despite it all. if only these two grown ass men could communicate, but alas.
boss \| friend ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♡	JEAN GUNNHILDR kaeya respects jean so much for her capacity to care and trust so freely. he doesn't think he deserves her trust - not because he's planning on betraying her, far from it. he doesn't trust himself to not manipulate her like he's done with so many others. she shouldn't trust him as unconditionally as she does, and he's conflicted about it but appreciates it all the same.
colleague \| friend ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♡	ALBEDO trying to get and maintain albedo's attention has become something of a game to kaeya. the man is unflappable, and kaeya is curious what buttons he can push for a reaction. that aside, albedo is something of a comfort for kaeya. he practices khaenri'an alchemy and seems to take everything objectively. it's just nice to have someone completely separate from his past, someone interested in his bloodline (even unknowingly - unsure if the star-shaped pupil is well known to be a khaenri'an trait), someone who doesn't make a big deal about things like trust and opening up. and kaeya probably has a fucking crush on him. "what, you into him as well?"

eyepatch pals ♥ ♥ ♥ ♡ ♡	FISCHL honestly i am not sure of their lore together but kaeya plays along with her larping, so he probably likes her to some degree.
sus ♥ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡	TARTAGLIA (CHILDE) kaeya has only heard of him through his informant network, and it's safe to say he's incredibly wary of tartaglia and will be keeping an eye on him. has a big dick though so that's cool, would fuck again 10/10.
acquaintances ♥ ♥ ♡ ♡ ♡	ZHONGLI see albedo and his unflappability. zhongli seems much the same only less blunt and more polite. a bonafide gentleman. now kaeya is still wary, as he hasn't known him for very long and even polite men can have bad intentions. but so far? he seems clean. have you seen this man's ass? would also fuck again 10/10.
aether's precious sister ♥ ♥ ♡ ♡ ♡	LUMINE he hasn't met her yet, but since aether seems to adore her, he thinks he'll probably quite like her as well. double the aether double the fun? aether's said very little of what she's actually like, so he doesn't know what to expect. boy is he in for a treat.
boyfriend ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥	ROMAN REED they're two birds of a feather, roman and kaeya. two peas in a pod. they're very similar and yet different at the same time. kaeya takes comfort in their similarity, as roman seems to just get it. the honeytrapping for information, the sunny disposition hiding a fragile heart, the casualness with which they lay with each other, their carefully maintained independence. they got along instantly and became quick friends with benefits - but are they really "only" friends? kaeya has never felt so seen and may be struggling with trying to remain friendly but detached, as he does with most of his friends. kaeya's trying to not catch feelings, but alas, life is a bastard and never goes as planned. spoiler: kaeya caught feelings.
